Mohammed Aqdim Id Errami
Mohammed was born into a nomadic Berber family in the village of Imlil, one of the most remote villages in the High Atlas Mountains and at the foot of the highest point in Northern Africa. As the only child, the whole family moved to a lower lying village called Tamaslouht where he was able to attend primary school. He moved to Marrakech to pursue his secondary education. To support his family, he eventually stopped school and started work in a restaurant and as an unofficial guide for two years. Mohammed undertook some vocational training in electricity and plumbing whilst in Marrakech.
A few years later, his first career opportunity was when he applied to Kasbah Tamadot for a role which led him to eventually become Maintenance Manager.
Mohammed volunteers his time for charitable associations including the Pupil and Parents association of the High Atlas High School in Asni. As part of the EBF Board, he is eager to develop the work of the foundation.
